Huge thanks to everybody who helped Dirty Diamonds editors Kelly & Claire hit their funding goal! I can’t wait for the book to debut at TCAF (and I can’t wait to GO to TCAF!), but in the meantime, here are two short previews of the two very very short comics I’ll have in the book. One is pretty much just a love letter to one of my favorite events, and the other is that, too, but also an earnest, embarrassing story about pumping myself up to make comics. But HMM which is which, it’s so difficult to tell from these previews
On another comics note, I’m going to be tabling at RIPEXPO this August! This looks like it’s going to be an amazing show, and I’m so happy to get to be a part of it.
Here’s the final version of my Animystics illustration for Light Grey Art Lab! You can buy a print here, and while you’re at it, check out all the other great pieces available. A portion of my sales will go to the Animal Humane Society (they have some great rabbits up for adoption).
If you’re in the Minneapolis area, the show opens this Friday, April 25 at 7pm. More info here.
Lunch break sketch dump. I’m also on instagram if anyone wants to see more sketches along with a ton of rabbit photos.
Slam! A hot new scalding crumbo for your filthy, lying eyes. This one’s about video games, SO SPREAD IT AROUND, INTERNET.
<3 <3 <3,
Guy at the gym who smells like peat moss and just put The Big Bang Theory on the only TV: I hate you a lot.
Demona. Took a little break, but I’m getting back into it.
Ryan never draws girls.
a new dog diary while I procrastinate on more important projects. Knitty City is one of my favorite yarn stores in the city. I stopped in a few weeks ago and this dog was hanging out with all the knitters.
42 pages (preview above includes the first 11, so almost 3/4s of the story still lies ahead!); $2+. Sales will be a huge help in covering the cost of traveling to and attending MOCCA, ABPCC, and TCAF this spring!
(If you bought a physical copy last year, email me with a picture of it and I’ll send you a free digital copy <3)
